Apple is working on its upcoming iPhone 14 Series phones were many rumors had surfaced online for a long time. Lastly, rumors have circulated which said that the iPhone 14 series will feature an Auto-Focus (AF) front camera for the first time in an iPhone. Now, rumors are finally happening as per the Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple product analyst that claims the front camera on the iPhone 14 series will be upgraded to AF technology. He also added that Apple will use a 6P lens for the front camera rather than a 5P lens.

In his Media post, Ming-Chi Kuo made an analysis of component suppliers for the front-facing camera on the upcoming iPhone series are Sony, Genius, and Cowell. The Genius company is the main supplier for the 6P lens, and the ASP is about 20% higher than 5P. These claims suggest that the front camera on the iPhone 14 series will be significantly improved, making it better for selfies and videos.

This time iPhone 14 series with iOS 16 will also support always-on-display, which is not present in the entire iPhone series. The major changes in the iPhone 14 series will abandon the punch hole design in favor of a pill-shaped module for the FaceID sensors, and a circular module for the front camera and the technology behind it. This will be interesting to see how these changes are reflected in the performances and prices.
