Today, iQOO has finally confirmed the launch of the iQOO 7 in India on April 26th alongside the iQOO 7 Legend Edition with Snapdragon 888 processor. It will be sold out on Amazon.in, where the last time iQOO 3 was launched on Flipkart.
The company confirmed that will launch the iQOO 7 Legend edition with the latest flagship Snapdragon 888 processor, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on OriginOS based on Android 11. It also confirmed that will launch iQOO 7 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series processor that should be the Snapdragon 870 SoC, but it is not clear if this will be the iQOO Neo 5 5G that was launch last month in China.
The earlier report says that the iQOO 7 Legend with Snapdragon 888 SoC will be priced under Rs. 40,000, so might be the iQOO 7 should be a cheaper version, and the iQOO 7 series has been manufactured at vivo’s Greater Noida facility.
The iQOO 7 has a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1300 nits brightness, 4096 levels of brightness adjustment, and 91.4% screen to body ratio. It will feature a VC cooling system that has a Vapor Chamber to dissipates heat from an area of up to 4096 mm2 as compared with the previous generation of heat pipes increased by 140%, as per the company.
