iQOO has officially announced the upcoming launch of the iQOO Neo9 and Neo9 Pro smartphones in China this December, after rumors. A teaser image has been shared, revealing a dual-tone design in red and white on the back, along with dual rear cameras, a plastic frame, and an IR blaster located at the top.
Anticipated specifications for the iQOO Neo9 include a 1.5K screen and an upgrade to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, surpassing the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 found in its predecessor. The main camera is rumored to boast a Sony IMX920 sensor, previously featured in the vivo X100 smartphone.
Maintaining the high-density batteries and 120W fast charging capabilities from the Neo8 series, the phone is expected to sport a 6.78-inch screen with a slim frame and utilize a four-sided curved glass back cover. Leaks suggest a focus on enhanced performance and a slimmer profile for the device.
Additionally, the iQOO Pad 2, the successor to the iQOO Pad introduced with the Neo8 series, is anticipated to be unveiled alongside the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro smartphones.
