LG has already confirmed to introduce its first mid-range 5G smartphone LG VELVET on May 7 through the online event. Now, the company has revealed all specifications of the phone that has a 6.8-inch Cinema FullVision FHD+ OLED display with 20.5:9 aspect ratio, in-display fingerprint scanner, and Waterdrop Camera house. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 765G processor with built-in 5G modem, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB storage and works on Android 10.
Coming to the cameras, it has a triple rear camera setup in the vertical raindrop design with an LED flash where 48 MP primary camera along with 8 MP ultra-wide lens and 5 MP depth sensor for macro and portraits shots. On the front side has a 16 MP waterdrop front-facing camera.
The company said that the phone is only 6.8mm thick and 74.1mm wide. It has a '3D arc design', which gently bends the left and right ends of the front display, and the rear cover is also bent at the same angle, and viewed from the bottom and a long oval shape. It has a luxurious and solid image by metal material to the edges of the phone. Each corner has a balanced design that gives a sense of stability in a gentle horn shape. It has some features stereo speakers and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Sound automatically analyzes the content and sets the optimal audio quality.
The LG Velevat 5G powered by a 4,300mAh battery that supports fast charging through USB Type-C with 10W wireless charging and comes in Aurora White, Aurora Gray, Aurora Green, and Illusion Sunset colors.

The price will be announced on May 7 before it goes on sale in South Korea from May 15. LG will announce the experience group of 300 'VELVETist' from the 29 April to the 7 May to check out the features of the smartphone. The phone also has support for LG Dual Screen mode and Stylus Pen that are available separately.
