Xiaomi has launched its latest Smart TVs the Mi TV 5X series in India, as they announced. These TVs feature a 4K display, premium metallic bezel-less finish, screen-to-body ratio up to 96.6%, carbon-fiber rear finish, Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, a metallic stand, and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) support, and also supports over 1 billion colors. These TVs also come with enhanced Vivid Picture Engine 2 (Proprietary display technology) with Adaptive Brightness, which adapts to the environment.
These TVs are the first to come with the latest PatchWall 4 that also features IMDb ratings for every movie. The new PatchWall has also been upgraded with 75+ free live channels and Universal Search across 30 OTT apps. It also has Kids Mode that has been upgraded to access the parental lock and safe search for age-appropriate content easily. The main feature is Far-field Mics with Google Assistant without using remote and works on Android TV 10 with Built-In Chromecast and Play Store.
The Mi TV 5X 50″ and 55″ models have 40W Dolby stereo speakers, and the 43″ model has 30W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos supports. The company also uses a new HDMI 2.1 via eARC that provides higher bandwidth audio.
