Micromax has been steadily gaining marketshare in India and with Hugh Jackman as their brand ambassador they are clearly fighting to make it to the big leagues. Micromax is present at CES 2014, and has a couple of interesting offerings to show at the international podium. Its a dual-boot tablet that runs both Android Jelly Bean and Windows 8.1.
The laptop-tablet hybrid (Canvas LapTab) has a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 pixels display, 2-megapixels front and rear cameras. Its powered by a 1.46GHz processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The tablet is supposed to go on sale next month with a wireless keyboard attachment as a separate accessory. Although there is no word on price at the moment.
