Micromax Bolt A66, a new phone in the budget series from Micromax has been spotted on the official website. The Bolt A66 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display, 1 GHz Spreadtrum SC7710G processor with 512 MB RAM running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Although its a bit behind the curve in terms software running on it, but its a step up from Gingerbread which most Bolt devices ran last year.

There's virtually no internal storage which is pegged at 512 MB, but its expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card. There's a 2 MP primary camera with LED flash but no word on whether the Bolt A66 has a front-facing camera. There's a 1500 mAh battery which according to Micromax has a talktime of 4.5 hours with 116 hours of standby.


In terms of connectivity you have WiFi, Bluetooth, WiFi, GRPS and quite surprisingly 3G as well. You will also get Kingsoft Office and Spuul pre-installed on the device. At present there is no word on availability or price.
