Motorola has just announced the 2nd Generation Moto E. Overall, Motorola's budget Android smartphone, Moto E (2015) has graduated with a larger 4.5-inch display, 64-bit chipset and 4G LTE support alongwith a VGA front facing camera.
The new Moto E (2nd-Gen) comes with qHD (540x960 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and anti-smudge coating. Its now powered by the 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 Snapdragon 410 chipset with 64-bit support, 4G LTE in tow and Adreno 306 GPU. Moto E Gen-2 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box and there's 1 GB RAM, 8 GB inbuilt storage (double from 1st-gen) with a microSD card slot.
The main camera here is a 5 MP unit with f/2.2 aperture with 720p video capture and you also have a VGA front facing camera this time around. Noise-cancellation is also available with two microphones. The Motorola Moto E (2015) also comes with the water-resistant nano-coating found on the previous-gen device alongwith a bigger 2390 mAh battery up from 1980 mAh on the 1st gen.

Now comes the best part, Motorola has priced the new Moto E (2015) at just $150 (about Rs. 9,000) unlocked and off-contract, available in black and white colors. There will be a 3G and a dual-SIM variant of the new 2nd-gen Moto E too which will run on the Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor and will presumably cost less.
