Google Nexus 6P was launched in India two weeks ago alongwith the Nexus 5X. The Nexus 5X has already started shipping while the Nexus 6P went on pre-order shortly. Now we have news that the Nexus 6P won't be available to customers before November, missing its October 21 shipping deadline.
Huawei said that they received overwhelming response for the Nexus 6P , available on pre-order at Flipkart. Therefore the company had to rethink the logistics and now the new Nexus will be shipped in batches to India, with the first batch arriving in the first week of November.
P. Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei & Honor India – Consumer Business Group, had this to say:
"Our supply chain is working on priority to fulfill the demand and the smartphones will be shipped out in batches. The first batch of the smartphone will be available in India starting first week of November. We are working closely with Flipkart and our retail partners on the availability of the smartphones to the Nexus 6P fans.”
