Nothing has officially launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the (b) Series, the Nothing Phone (4b) in India and global markets, replacing the discontinued CMF Phone lineup. Designed for young users, the smartphone focuses on a distinctive design, reliable performance, and practical everyday features.
Design: Refined Unibody with New Glyph Bar
The Nothing Phone (4b) retains the brand’s recognizable transparent design language while introducing several refinements. It combines the durable polycarbonate unibody from the Phone (4a) Pro with an upgraded Glyph Bar interface.
- Premium Finish: The rear panel features a multi-layer coating with primer, color, and UV protection that minimizes fingerprints while delivering a smooth, comfortable feel.
- Upgraded Glyph Grid: The redesigned rear lighting system includes 45 mini LEDs arranged across five zones. It delivers up to 40% higher brightness with improved light control and supports notifications such as delivery tracking, camera countdowns, and live cricket score updates.
- Improved Durability: The smartphone comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and offers 20% better structural strength against bending compared to the Phone (3a) Lite.
Nothing Phone (4b) RCB Limited Edition
Nothing has also introduced the Nothing Phone (4b) RCB Edition in collaboration with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), commemorating the franchise’s second IPL championship.
The limited-edition model features an exclusive red finish, custom RCB branding, collector’s edition packaging, themed wallpapers, and additional exclusive content, making it the first officially licensed RCB smartphone.

While the global model packs a 5,200mAh battery, the Indian version receives a larger 6,000mAh battery, making it the biggest battery ever offered on a Nothing smartphone.
The battery utilizes Safe Cell Technology for improved durability and is designed to retain up to 90% of its original capacity after approximately 1,200 charging cycles.

For sustained gaming performance, the smartphone features a total cooling area of 20,829mm², including a 4,400mm² vapor chamber, enabling gameplay at up to 90fps in Battlegrounds Mobile India.
The front houses a 6.77-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display featuring:

Nothing OS 4.1 and Essential AI
The Phone (4b) ships with Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16. The latest software introduces new customization options, including Lock Screen Depth Effects, redesigned Quick Settings, and pixel-level display protection to reduce AMOLED burn-in over time.
Nothing also introduces its new Essential AI suite, accessible through the dedicated Essential Key or customizable home screen widgets.
- Essential Voice: Converts speech into polished text by removing filler words, correcting grammar, and translating content into more than 100 languages.
- Essential Space: Stores screenshots, images, and voice notes while automatically creating summaries and to-do lists.

The Nothing Phone (4b) is available in Black, White, and a new Blue finish. It will go on sale from July 14 through Flipkart, along with major offline retail outlets including Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales.
