Update - OnePlus has started taking pre-registrations for the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone from today December 27th through online platforms in China, before the pre-orders on January 4th from 10 AM. The OnePlus CEO already confirmed that the phone will launch in January, so might be the launch date could be January 4th, 2022.
Last week, the OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will use the industry-leading generation of LTPO 2.0 display to bring the smooth experience of the entire screen to a new level, and OnePlus will continue to work with Samsung Display. The China online store Jd.com has posted a teaser of the smartphone but did not reveal all details yet.
Earlier - OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that its latest flagship smartphone the OnePlus 10 Pro will be launched in January in China, but didn't reveal the exact date. It has been confirmed in their weibo account, based on earlier rumors, the global launch is expected only in April. As we know that this phone will be powered by the latest high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor.
Last month, the renders of the phone surfaced online that shows a 6.7-inch curved Quad HD+ AMOLED LPTO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, also showed Hasselblad branding on the new rear camera module.
Earlier rumors revealed that the phone will be powered by a 5000mAh battery compared to the 4500mAh battery in the predecessor. The phone will support 125W fast charging, but another leakster Digital Chat Station reveals that the phone will feature an 80W wired fast charging as compared to 65W and will retain the 50W wireless fast charging.
