OnePlus upcoming flagship 5G smartphone OnePlus 9 Pro live images have surfaced online by YouTuber Dave2D who got hold of the images after the CAD renders that were surfaced last year. It could be the prototype of the OnePlus 9 Pro that shows Hasselblad branding on the quad-camera module for the first time in a smartphone, but it is not clear if this will be the final design. We have already seen Hasselblad partnering with Motorola for the Hasselblad TrueZoom Moto Camera Mod, but earlier rumors say that the company was in talks with Zeiss.
On the Camera UI, it shows 3.3x zoom compared to 3X zoom in the previous, but it does not conform if this will have an improved telephoto lens, and also shows 0.6x for the ultra-wide camera along with a Tilt-Shift option that will let you focus on an object and blur out other parts.
Its images show a glass back with a glossy finish and OnePlus branding in the middle. It also shows a metal frame on the curved, alert slider and lock/power button on the right side, and also on the bottom, there is a SIM slot, USB-C port, primary microphone, and the down-firing speaker.
The phone should come with a Quad HD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) curved screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the OnePlus 8 Pro. According to the earlier rumors, it revealed a 6.7-inch display, and some images show 11GB of RAM, so it should come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The phone will expect powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 888 processor.
Another rumor has revealed that the phone will feature IP68 ratings, a larger battery compared to 4510mAh in the previous, 65W wired fast charging, and 45W wireless charging support. The OnePlus 9 series is expected to be announced in March 2021, we should know more details and the exact launch date in the coming weeks.
