OnePlus just launched its latest Smart TV OnePlus Y1 and U1 series in India, as they announced. There are three models - OnePlus TV 32-inch HD and 43-inch Full HD, and the OnePlus TV 55U1 55-inch 4K TV model. These TVs feature with 93% DCI-P2 Color Gamut and gamma engine that the company calls OnePlus Cinematic Display. These TVs run on Android TV 9.0 with built-in Chromecast, Google Play, Google Assistant and it will also get data saver features soon.
The OnePlus 55U1 55-inch 4K model comes with MEMC technology, Dolby Vision, ultra-slim 6.9mm body, 95% screen-to-body ratio, and has 30W speakers with Dolby Atmos Sound. The body frame of the TV is made up of Strong alloy with a carbon fiber pattern where ports are hidden and have a metal stand. The 32-inch TV has 88.5% screen-to-body ratio and the 43-inch model has a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio, and both feature with 20W speakers.
There is also have OnePlus Connect, OnePlus Play with international and local content providers with YouTube, Prime Video, Eros Now, Hungama, Jio Cinema, Zee 5, and more. The OnePlus Connect allows you to link your phone with your TV then use your phone exactly as you would a remote, and it is also getting in the iPhone app. There is also Data saver mode, and Kids mode that will be available in the next OTA update, according to the company.

These all are already available for pre-order on Amazon.in and some models available from July 5 on Amazon.in, Oneplus.com, and also available from OnePlus Experience stores soon. The company is also offering the installation of the TV that can be available in select cities. These TVs come under ‘Make in India’ initiative and are Made in India, as per the company.
