Oppo's budget focus A37 smartphones has just gone official with Snapdragon 410, 5MP front camera and 8MP rear camera.
The company has paired that with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with a dedicated MicroSD card slot to expand storage. Sadly it still runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop but with some added features thanks to Color OS 3.0.
Oppo A37 stresses that its a serious contender in the photography department but given a f/2.2 8MP rear camera coupled with a f/2.4 front-camera, it doesn't excite much. But you have a beautification mode and the display lights up when taking selfies, then it has larger 1.4μm pixel size with which the images may come out brighter even in lower light. You can use the rear camera to stick together up to 24MP images with the UltraHD mode.
You have a 5-inch 720p HD display which is covered in 2.5D curved glass and all of this runs on a 2630 mAh battery. The Oppo A37 is quite thin at just 7.7mm and weighs in at 136 grams.
Oppo A37 has been priced at $215 and is now available in Singapore.
