OPPO F33 series launch date India.

OPPO has revealed key camera specifications and design details of its upcoming smartphones in the F33 Series, which succeeds last year’s F31 lineup. The new mid-range smartphone series is set for an India-exclusive launch on April 15, 2026, and places strong emphasis on wide-angle selfie capabilities and a newly introduced unibody construction approach.

Camera Hardware and Specifications -

  • Front Camera: 50MP ultra-wide sensor (GC50F6)
  • Field of View: 100° wide-angle coverage
  • Aperture & Focal Length: f/2.0 aperture, 18mm focal length
  • Rear Main Camera: 50MP sensor (OV50D40)
  • Rear Secondary Camera: 2MP depth sensor for portrait effects

According to OPPO, the 100° front camera captures nearly 30% more area at a one-meter distance compared to conventional selfie cameras, helping include more subjects in group shots.

OPPO F33 series camera features India.

Software and Camera Features -

  • AI Groupfie Expert - Automatically switches to 0.6x wide angle when more than two people are detected in the frame. It also features face distortion correction, adjusting up to six faces to maintain natural proportions.
  • AI Portrait Glow - Analyzes lighting conditions in real time and applies one of four styles — Natural Light, Flashlight, Rim Light, or Studio Light.
  • Colourful Front Fill Light - Uses adjustable multi-colored lighting instead of standard white flash to enhance skin tones in low light.
  • Popout Mode - Allows users to create layered, 3D-style compositions from still images or motion shots directly within the camera app.
  • Dual-View Video - Records simultaneously from both front and rear cameras into a single video output.

Design and Build -

The OPPO F33 Series introduces a refreshed design language. At the rear, the device features a redesigned “Starry Sea Lens Module,” consisting of a flush, rounded-rectangular camera island housing two vertically aligned circular lenses alongside a ring-flash element.

The smartphone sports a 6.57-inch flat display and weighs 194 grams. Its chassis is built using a One-Piece Cold Carving construction technique.

Back Panel Details:

  • Made from a single 1.5mm polymer sheet (acrylic + polycarbonate composite).
  • Three times thicker than typical injection-molded back covers for improved durability.

Manufacturing Process:

  • Uses integrated cold sculpting technology.
  • A 40,000 RPM CNC machine precisely carves the camera platform for a seamless high-gloss finish.
  • The surrounding back panel features a contrasting matte texture.
  • Finished with a hard coating (HC) layer for improved wear resistance.

Color Options -

The OPPO F33 Series will be available in three finishes:

  • Misty Forest - Signature variant with a “Dynamic 3D Depth” layered coating and pine tree silhouettes printed into the hardening layer, creating an angle-shifting depth effect.
  • Starry Blue - A refined finish with subtle shine and clean tones.
  • Passion Red - A bold variant with a reflective metallic texture.

Complete specifications and pricing details are expected to be announced when the OPPO F33 Series officially launches next week.
