OPPO has revealed key details about the camera system of its upcoming flagship smartphones in the Find X10 series in China. In a statement shared online, OPPO Chief Product Officer and OnePlus founder Pete Lau discussed the company’s imaging strategy, stating that smartphone photography over the next decade should prioritize realistic and natural image output instead of overly processed or artificial results.

New Imaging Architecture

According to Pete Lau, the Find X10 series represents the latest stage of optical and computational imaging development that began with the Find X6 series. The new flagship lineup will introduce the “Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Original Camera” system, which is built around four core technologies:

  • Co-Developed 200MP Lens Cluster: Developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, the system uses advanced computational photography to capture fine details while maintaining natural-looking skin textures.
  • LUMO Native Light and Shadow Engine: Designed to improve dynamic-range handling, allowing faces to remain clear in backlit environments without excessively darkening skin tones.
  • Second-Generation LUMO Color Reproduction Lens: Calibrated to produce more accurate and natural skin tones while avoiding excessive digital whitening.
  • Visual Consistency: Optimized to make captured images closely resemble how scenes and subjects appear to the human eye.

A teaser image shared by the company also provides a glimpse of the rear design, showing a stepped horizontal matrix-style camera module along with a chassis featuring subtle vertical edge detailing.

Hardware and Software Specifications

Leaks and regulatory certifications suggest that the Find X10 lineup could bring major hardware upgrades across the range.

  • Triple 200MP Camera Setup: The flagship Find X10 Pro Max is reportedly set to feature a triple 200MP camera configuration. According to tech tipster Digital Chat Station, the setup could include a 200MP DeepPix ultra-high-dynamic-range primary camera with HPC technology, accompanied by a 200MP telephoto camera and a 200MP ultra-wide-angle sensor.
  • Core Hardware: The Find X10 series is expected to be powered by the 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and could feature a display with extremely narrow bezels.
  • Network and Platform Certification: Two Find X10 models have reportedly received network certification in China, confirming support for the N79 5G band as well as 2.4GHz spread-spectrum communication.

On the software front, the Find X10 series is expected to ship with ColorOS 17 and will include several integrated large AI models.

OPPO is scheduled to host its ColorOS 17 launch event and developer conference in Zhuhai on September 17, 2026. The Find X10 series is expected to be officially introduced later this month.
