After the earlier rumors that revealed the Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro, and the Reno 6 Pro+ will be runs on the latest Dimensity 1200, Snapdragon 870, and Snapdragon 888 processor. Now, the new OPPO smartphone has been certified by MIIT with the model number PEXM00 in China. The image on the certification site shows has a 64MP triple rear camera setup in the rectangular module.
It also reveals that the phone will come with a 6.43-inch screen, which could be an FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display similar to the realme GT Neo that was launched recently. All the Reno 6 series are expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate screen as compared to 90Hz in the predecessor.
The Reno 6 will works on the ColorOS 11 based on Android 11, dimensions are 159.1×73.4×7.9mm and will be powered by a 4200mAh (2100mAh x 2) dual battery that supports 65W fast charging, which gets 3C certification recently.
The OPPO Reno 5 series was launched back in December 2020, so the Reno 6 series should be introduced sometime in Summer. We should know more details and the full specifications of the phones in the coming weeks.
