OPPO has finally launched its latest 5G smartphone on the Reno8 series including OPPO Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+ in China, as they announced. The Reno8 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, the Reno8 Pro has the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, and the Reno8 Pro+ has a flagship Dimensity 8100 Plus processor.
OPPO Reno8 has a 6.43-inch, 90Hz AMOLED display, Reno8 Pro has a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and Reno8 Pro+ has a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display. The Reno8 Pro and Reno8 Pro+ have MariSilicon X NPU chipset, which was initially used in the Find X5 series. OPPO’s in-house MariSolicon X NPU is combined with the 50MP Sony IMX766 primary rear camera, along with MP ultrawide camera, and perhaps even a 2MP macro camera.
Qualcomm’s brand-new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset power the OPPO Reno8 Pro, which is the first phone available with this chip. The new 7-series SoC is made using a 4nm process, and the Kryo CPU cluster and Adreno 662 GPU can both run up to 2.4GHz.
These have up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and are based on Android 12.1 with the new ColorOS 12.1. All three phones are powered by 4,500 mAh batteries that support 80W SuperVOOC flash charging.

OPPO Reno8 is available in Black, Blue, and Gold colors, the Reno8 Pro comes in blue, black, and gradient colors and the OPPO Reno8 Pro+ is available in grey, black, and green colors. The OPPO Reno8 Pro+ and Reno8 will be available from June 1st, while the Reno8 Pro will be available from June 11th,2022 only in China.
