Last week Prisma started rolling out its beta app for Android, which was quickly pulled as it reached to more people than they had intended. Now, the official final version of the Prisma app is now available in the Play Store.
If you have been living under the rock, or have to internet access, Prisma has been one of the most annoying things of 2016 apart from Pokémons. The app rose to insane popularity when released on iOS with 7.5 million downloads and over 1.5 million active users. Last week, it was the number one app in more than 40 countries.
Prisma essentially takes your photos/images and creates an artistic portrait with several filters some of which are unique, while some mimic the artworks of Picasso, Van Gogh and other great artists. The company is also looking to introduce Prisma videos, 360 degree images and more filters to choose from. The current Android version works as fast as on iOS and you can try it out at the download link below.
