realme has officially confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone, the realme 16x 5G in India on August 12. Following last year's realme 15x 5G, the upcoming smartphone targets the entry-level and mid-range 5G segment, with a strong emphasis on battery endurance, durability, and smooth day-to-day performance. The device will be available through Flipkart.
Carrying the tagline "Stay Smooth. Stay Unstoppable," the realme 16x 5G is designed to deliver long-lasting reliability and a responsive user experience.

The biggest highlight of the realme 16x 5G is its massive 7,000mAh battery. The company also promises up to six years of battery health and a 60-month fluency guarantee, ensuring consistent performance over extended use.
For durability, the smartphone has passed MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance testing and comes with an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
Performance
According to reports, the realme 16x 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It is also expected to feature a 144Hz refresh rate display, offering smoother scrolling, gaming, and overall system responsiveness.
Design
Official teasers reveal a flat-frame design complemented by a vertically aligned dual-camera module with a distinctive ring flash. The smartphone will be offered in Endurance Brown and Glory White color options.
Availability
The realme 16x 5G is expected to be available in multiple RAM and storage variants, with configurations starting at 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
