Realme has launched its latest mid-range smartphone the Realme 8 in India, as it had promised. It is the successor of the realme 7 that was launched last year. It has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, and has an in-display fingerprint scanner. It runs on the MediaTek Helio G95 processor with copper liquid cooling tech, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage as similar to the predecessor, and works on the Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.
It has a quad rear camera setup where a 64-megapixel primary camera with 1/1.7″ Sony IMX682 Sensor, along with an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel B&W portrait sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro shots. There also comes with Starry Mode and Super NightScape modes. On the front side has a 16-megapixel punch-hole front-facing camera.
The Design of the phone uses Split Design and Splicing Process to give the digital world a visual form. On the left is the real world as we see it, while on the right is the mysterious digital world, according to the company. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W SuperDart Charge fast charging, which can charge the phone up to 50% in 26 minutes, and 100% in 65 minutes.
