Realme confirmed last month that it will launch its latest flagship 5G smartphone the Realme GT 5G with Snapdragon 888 processor in the Global Market starting first in Europe from June, which was launched in China in March. Today, the company has confirmed that will launch a new realme GT 5G with flagship cameras in the Global Market from July, at the realme 5G summit.
The GT series will be a part of realme’s new flagship focusing on high-performance and image, respectively. This will not only allow us to achieve technological breakthroughs but will also keep us ahead of the market, as per CEO Madhav Sheth. It also said that the company had launched 14 5G products across 21 markets, which accounted for about 40% of all product models.
The company also expected to launch more than 20 5G products which will account for 70% of all product models in 50 markets by 2022. It also confirmed the upcoming 5G events date in the Global Market for more 5G insights and more exciting products.
Realme already said that has seven R&D centers across the globe and 90% of them have converted to 5G technology and products. In the upcoming next 2 years will be decided to invest the US $300 Million globally in 5G technology to explore and innovate in 5G products. The CEO also said that develop R&D centers in China, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, South East Asia, India, Middle East & Africa, and Latin America. Over the next 3 years, realme plans to sell 100 million 5G smartphones worldwide.
At the end of the event, the CEO of Realme and Vice President Madhav Sheth in realme India & Europe said that the company will expect to be introduced budget 5G smartphones in India under Rs. 10,000 next year.
