ZTE Nubia has launched its latest flagship 5G gaming smartphones the RedMagic 7S and RedMagic 7S Pro in China, after the launch of the RedMagic 7 series back in February. Both the phones have a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED Screen with up to 165Hz refresh rate, 960 Hz touch sampling rate, 10bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 700nits brightness, and DC dimming. These runs on the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with nubia’s signature cooling system, have built-in turbofan, up to 18GB LPDDR5 6400 RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage, and are based on Android 12 with Redmagic OS 5.5.
These have a triple rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera along with an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. RedMagic 7S has 8MP punch-hole front-facing camera, while the Red Magic 7 pro has a 16MP Under-screen camera. The phones feature a new ICE 10.0 cooling system. This has a nine-layer cooling structure, creating the first gaming smartphone with a cooling material area of up to 43525mm² and a 4124mm² super large VC cooling plate that manages to drop the temperature by 3°C, according to the company.
The RedMagic 7S Pro has under-display camera technology, with tripod-shaped pixel arrangement and wave-shaped electrode wiring. It also includes seven layers of high-transparency materials, a built-in UDC Pro screen display chip, and more features. It is Operated by the ACE circuit design that provides the entire screen is perfect for display and shooting.
RedMagic 7S and RedMagic 7S Pro have a built-in turbofan that can reach up to 20,000rpm high-speed centrifugal fans (4dB noise reduction) including a shark fin vortex air duct (air volume wind pressure increase by 6%), deuterium front metal heat sink, ultra-flexible high thermal conductivity rare earth material and new composite phase change material (graphene + n-hexane).
These phones also have 520Hz touch sampling shoulder triggers with a response speed as low as 7.4ms. The upgraded Magic GPU in REDMAGIC 7S Pro has increased the steady frame stabilization by 60% improving its three core aspects: phase synchronization, TC (Touch Choreography) frame complement, and quintuple buffering. The cache area and the screen display synchronously process the pictures and the displayed pictures, respectively, and instantly “calls” from the buffer area when the image needs to be displayed. The RedMagic 7S Pro is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports a 135W fast charging quick charger, which can be charged 100% battery in 15 minutes. The RedMagic 7S is powered by a 4500mAh dual-cell battery that supports up to 120W air-cooled fast charging and can be 100% charged in just 17 minutes. But, both these come with a 165W GaN charger in the box.

The RedMagic 7S comes in Night Knight and Deuterium Transparent Edition versions, and the Redmagic 7S Pro comes in Deuterium transparent silver wing version, Night Knight, and Deuterium transparent version. The RedMagic 7S and RedMagic 7S Pro will be available from July 15th in China and the pre-order started on July 11th.
