Today, Redmi has confirmed the launch of its upcoming flagship smartphones in the Redmi K50 series including Redmi K50 and K50 Pro in China on March 17th, after the launch of Redmi K50G with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in the country. The Redmi K50 and K50 Pro should be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 9000 processor, depending on the model. The Redmi official weibo post also confirms the Redmi K50 Pro design.
The teaser image confirms that the phone will feature a 108MP primary rear camera along with two other cameras. The company already announced Dimensity 8100 processor for one model, and this should be the first phone in the world to be powered by this chip before the realme GT Neo3, which will be released sometime later this month.
According to the earlier rumors, it revealed a similar design of the phones with a punch-hole FHD+ AMOLED screen, and expect up to 12GB of RAM and could support 120W wired fast charging. We should know more details and the full specifications of the Redmi K50 series phones in the coming days before they go officially launch on March 17th.
