Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has launched its latest top-end 5G smartphone the Redmi K50i in India along with Redmi Buds 3 Lite. It has a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 144Hz 7-step variable refresh rate, support for DC dimming and Dolby Vision, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The company said that this is the industry’s first LCD mobile phone to be certified with DisplayMate A+ ratings. It runs on the Dimensity 8100 processor with LiquidCool 2.0 and 2268 mm² Vapour Chamber with 7 layers of graphite.
It has up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and is based on Android 12 with MIUI 13. It has a triple rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP front camera inside the punch-hole. It is powered by a 4,400mAh that supports 67W wired charging, which can charge up to 50% battery in 15 minutes and 100% in 46 minutes. The phone comes with a charger in the box that also support 27W PD, as per the company.

The Redmi K50i comes in Phantom Blue, Stealth Black, and Quick Silver colors. It will be available from July 23rd on mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home stores, offline stores, and Croma.

Redmi Buds 3 Lite -
The company also launched its latest budget earbuds the Redmi Buds 3 Lite in India. It has an in-ear with a winged band for a better fit that offer better sound insulation. It supports Bluetooth 5.2, low-latency gaming mode, and 6mm drivers with call noise reduction.
It has a compact, round charging case with a matte finish to ensure an easy grip, and a Type-C port for charging. The earbuds feature touch controls and have IP54 ratings for dust and splash resistance. The company promises 5 hours of standalone music playback on a single charge and up to 18 hours of total battery life with the case.
