Xiaomi has launched its latest smartphones in the Note 15 Pro series, the REDMI Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ smartphones in China, as promised. Both models feature a 6.83-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 3200 nits, and protection from Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ debuts as the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC. It introduces the Note series’ first ice-sealed circulating cooling pump, covering a 5200mm² ultra-large area with triple thermal conductivity that expands to 5954mm², along with a 1000mm² mid-frame graphite layer. It also integrates the Xiaomi Pascal T1S signal enhancement chip. For optics, it sports a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 2.5x telephoto camera.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro, on the other hand, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra SoC. Its camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens.
Both phones come with an IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K-certified dust- and water-resistant design, making them capable of withstanding high-pressure, high-temperature water jets for prolonged durations. Xiaomi highlights 17 airtight structural components, TÜV SÜD five-star long-term waterproof certification, and Wet Touch 2.0 support.
Durability is further enhanced with an ultra-tough fiberglass back panel, which provides impact resistance. The devices have passed a 2-meter drop test repeated 50 times on granite and earned the Gold Label Five-Star dual certification for drop resistance. They also include 1115mm symmetrical dual speakers with up to 400% loudspeaker volume for an enhanced audio experience.
Powering the phones is a 7000mAh battery, with the Note 15 Pro+ supporting 90W fast charging and the Note 15 Pro offering 45W fast charging, along with 22.5W reverse charging. Additionally, Xiaomi introduced a REDMI Note 15 Pro+ Satellite Messaging Edition, the first in the series to support Beidou satellite messaging, enabling emergency text communication without a cellular network.
