
Samsung has launched its 2026 monitor portfolio, expanding its lineup across gaming, OLED, professional, and flexible display segments for the Global Market. The new range introduces higher-resolution panels, faster refresh rates, and updated display technologies tailored for gaming, creative work, and productivity-focused users.
Samsung also reiterated its dominance in the gaming monitor market, reporting an 18.9% global revenue share. According to IDC, the company also retained the top spot in the OLED gaming monitor segment for the third straight year with a 26% market share.
Odyssey G8 6K and 5K Gaming Monitors -
The latest Odyssey series includes two premium gaming monitors that combine ultra-high resolutions with high-refresh-rate performance.

The 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) becomes the world’s first 6K gaming monitor, featuring an IPS panel with 224 PPI pixel density. It supports up to 165Hz refresh rate at full 6K resolution and includes Dual Mode functionality that allows up to 330Hz operation at 3K resolution for competitive gaming.

Meanwhile, the 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF) offers a 5K display with up to 180Hz refresh rate and 218 PPI density. It also supports Dual Mode with up to 360Hz refresh rate at QHD resolution, targeting users who alternate between immersive visuals and esports gaming.
Odyssey OLED G7 and G8 -

Samsung has also expanded its OLED gaming monitor lineup with the Odyssey OLED G7 and G8 models, focusing on higher brightness, ultra-fast response times, and minimized screen reflections for improved gameplay visibility.

Key OLED-specific upgrades include:
- QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel structure for improved brightness efficiency and stability
- Glare Free technology to reduce reflections in bright environments
- USB Type-C connectivity with 98W power delivery for simplified single-cable setups
- DisplayHDR True Black 500 support on the 32-inch model for deeper HDR contrast
These displays also retain gaming-focused specifications including refresh rates up to 240Hz, response times as low as 0.03ms on the G7, and Dual Mode support for switching to higher FPS modes.
ViewFinity S8 5K and WUHD -
The ViewFinity S8 series is aimed at professionals and creators who require high-resolution displays, multitasking efficiency, and broad connectivity support.

The 40-inch curved WUHD model supports refresh rates up to 144Hz and is designed for multi-window workflows and extended productivity usage.

Samsung also introduced a 27-inch 5K ViewFinity variant, targeting users who prioritize image clarity and ergonomic workspace setups in a more compact form factor.
Additional productivity-oriented features include:
- Thunderbolt 5 connectivity with up to 80Gbps bandwidth
- Up to 140W power delivery for connected devices
- Easy Connection support for seamless multi-device workflow integration
Movingstyle Essential 4K Display -
Samsung also introduced the Movingstyle Essential monitor, designed as a portable display solution for flexible home and office environments.

The monitor features a 43-inch 4K UHD panel mounted on a rolling stand with height adjustment and multi-angle positioning support, allowing users to move it easily between rooms.
Unlike traditional monitors, the Movingstyle Essential also functions as an entertainment display, integrating Smart TV applications along with Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud gaming without a console.

Samsung said the new monitor lineup will be available globally soon, with prices starting at USD 899.99 (approximately Rs. 87,095), depending on the model and configuration.
