Samsung Lpddr4 Ram

And you thought 3GB RAM on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was overkill. Samsung thought otherwise, and has just unveiled world's first 8 Gigabit (1GB) Low Power DDR4 RAM chip. Using this new technology Samsung aims to make a multi-layered 4GB RAM mobile package for upcoming smartphones. The DDR4 standard uses 3.1Gbps transfer speeds, which would provide about 50% faster data transfer rates over DDR3. Since the Galaxy S5 is expected to be released sometime in February, it probably won't be using the new memory chips. But the Galaxy Note 4 might again be the first to have 4GB memory.

Samsung will start mass production sometime in early 2014, and you will find the new LPDDR4 RAM soon in PC's, Tablets and Smartphones with high-res displays.
