Samsung has launched its latest smartphones in the Galaxy A series, the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and the Galaxy A37 5G in India, after global introduction. The highlight of this launch is the expansion of Samsung’s “Awesome Intelligence” AI capabilities to more affordable smartphones, along with upgrades in hardware, camera performance, and security.
Awesome Intelligence Integration -
Powered by the latest One UI 8.5, both smartphones offer a suite of AI-based tools aimed at improving productivity and creative workflows. However, feature availability may differ depending on region and carrier.
- Productivity Enhancements - The Voice Recorder app now includes a Voice Transcription feature capable of converting and translating call recordings and voicemails into text. AI Select, available through the Edge Panel, enables text extraction, content creation, and seamless Drag & Drop functionality within Multi-Window mode.
- Photo and Video Editing - The updated Object Eraser delivers more natural background edits. The Galaxy A57 5G exclusively introduces the “Best Face” feature to refine group photos captured in burst mode, along with an “Auto Trim” tool for simplified video editing.
- Search and Smart Assistance - Both devices support Circle to Search with Google, now upgraded with multi-object recognition within a single image. They also feature enhanced Bixby integration for system controls and Gemini support for handling complex actions across built-in and third-party apps.

The Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G are equipped with a triple-camera setup centered around a 50MP primary sensor, complemented by an ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro camera.

- Cooling and Display - A 13% larger vapor chamber ensures sustained performance during demanding tasks. The phone also sports a Super AMOLED+ display with Vision Booster technology for enhanced brightness and outdoor visibility.
- Durability - Both the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G come with an IP68 rating, offering resistance against dust and water.
Security and Software Support -
Samsung has extended software support for the new Galaxy A series, promising up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with up to six years of security patches.
Security is reinforced by Knox Vault, Samsung’s hardware-based protection system. Additional privacy tools include a Security & Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker, Theft Protection, and a new Private Album feature within the Gallery app. The devices also introduce proactive Privacy Alerts to monitor location access and safeguard sensitive data.
