Samsung has launched its latest laptops in the Galaxy Book6 series in India, expanding its laptop portfolio with three new models: Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6. The latest lineup brings refinements across design, display technology, performance architecture, thermal management, and Galaxy AI integration.
Galaxy Book6 Series -
The Galaxy Book6 series features a newly engineered chassis with restructured internal components, including a wider vapor chamber, slimmer cooling fans, and an updated hinge mechanism. These enhancements contribute to a thinner overall profile. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra has a thickness of 15.4mm, while the Galaxy Book6 Pro 16-inch measures 11.9mm. The design language incorporates symmetrical corners, a centrally aligned logo, a two-tone keyboard, and a haptic touchpad for improved ergonomics and consistency.
The laptops are equipped with Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreens, offering HDR peak brightness of up to 1000 nits and SDR brightness up to 500 nits. Display highlights include:
- Vision Booster technology for adapting brightness to ambient lighting
- True Bright certification with perceived brightness reaching up to 1300 nits
- True Black levels of 0.0005 nits
- Adaptive refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz
- Corning Gorilla Glass with DXC for reduced reflections and enhanced durability
Performance is driven by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on Intel’s 18A architecture. These chips feature up to 16 CPU cores and an integrated NPU capable of delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI processing power for on-device workloads. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra further enhances graphics performance with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU.
In terms of battery and thermal efficiency, the devices are rated for up to 30 hours of video playback under typical usage conditions. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra supports fast charging, reaching up to 63% battery capacity in approximately 30 minutes. The cooling system incorporates a larger vapor chamber and optimized fins for better heat dissipation. The Ultra variant also features a dual-path outlet fan, improved heatsink design, and redesigned airflow channels to enhance thermal performance.
The Galaxy Book6 Ultra is equipped with a six-speaker audio system with Dolby Atmos support, comprising four force-canceling woofers and two tweeters. Up-firing tweeters improve clarity, while side-firing woofers enhance bass output. A back-to-back woofer structure helps minimize vibration and distortion at higher volumes.
For security, the series integrates Samsung Knox, providing hardware-based multi-layer protection, along with Windows 11 Secured-core PC features for advanced system security. Each model also undergoes durability testing as part of Samsung’s quality assurance process.
Galaxy AI and Productivity Features -
The Galaxy Book6 lineup integrates Galaxy AI capabilities across both on-device and cloud-based environments.

- AI Select for instant text translation
- AI Cut Out for removing backgrounds from images
- Note Assist for summarization and translation
- Natural Language Search for faster file discovery
- Storage Share for accessing media across Galaxy devices

The laptops run on Windows 11 with Copilot+ PC capabilities. Microsoft Copilot is integrated into Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Edge, enabling AI-driven assistance across productivity tasks.
