Samsung is ready to launch the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch in India on September 17th. The Galaxy Note III is one of the most anticipated devices, and Samsung was able to meet expectations with its great 5.7-inch display and a new S-Pen with more functionality. Although software UI design leaves a lot to be desired, but its only Samsung that has been able to make the capacitive pen usable on a touchscreen device again all the while keeping it productive.
In terms of specs the Galaxy Note 3 features the latest superfast quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset or Samsung's own 1.9GHz Exynos Octa chipset. There's 3GB of RAm and storage options include both 32GB and 64GB. Although the pricing has has not been revealed yet, its going to cost north of Rs. 45,000.
The Galaxy Gear smartwatch on the other hand is a completely different proposition, its a novel device and although has some great use, it would be best to say no to it till Galaxy Gear 2.0 when the kinks have been ironed out.
