Thanks to @evLeaks we have a clear look at the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. The design is un-orthodox to say the least. At the top and bottom you have hardened plastic enclosures which would protect your phone in case it drops. The back has four bolts which seem to be there just for show as the back itself is removable giving access to the removable battery, microSD and microSIM slots.
The battery inside is the same as the Galaxy S5 pegged at 2800 mAh. The Galaxy S5 Active is expected to sport a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display while on the GS5 we have a 5.1-inch display. Other specs include Snapdragon 801 SoC, 2 GB RAM and the same 16 MP ISOCELL camera as the Galaxy S5.
