Today, Sony has confirmed to launch its new flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 5 II on September 17 at 9 AM CEST (12:30 PM IST), which is the successor of Xperia 5 that was introduced last year at the IFA 2019. According to the leakster @evleaks’ has leaked an image of the phone with a similar design as the Xperia 5 II with 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED 21:9 display, 90Hz refresh rate, and X-Reality Engine.
According to the report, It could be run on Snapdragon 865 processor with 5G support, 8GB of RAM, 256 GB storage, and works on Android 10. It will come with a triple rear camera setup where a 12 MP primary camera along with a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 12 MP telephoto lens with 3D iToF (indirect Time-of-Flight) sensor, and on the front side has an 8 MP front-facing camera as similar to the Xperia 1 II
The Sony Xperia 5 II will feature a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner and a dedicated camera shutter button. It will be powered by a 3300mAh battery that is slightly larger as compared to a 3140mAh battery in the predecessor.
