Sony has launched its the Xperia XA Ultra in India today which features a 16MP front-facing camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and selfie flash.
The Xperia XA Ultra continues the same thin bezel design of the Xperia XA which allows for an almost borderless 6-inch 1080p display which curves slightly at the sides. Under the hood you will find the octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor running the show with 3GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage.
Sony has also packed its 21.5MP Exmor RS sensor for the rear Camera which can record 1080p videos at 30FPS although unlike the front camera, the rear camera doesn't come equipped with OIS. But you do get hybrid autofocus for the back camera which has been proven to be quite quick.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G LTE support, dual-band WiFi, GPS, FM Radio and NFC. The Xperia XA runs Android Marshmallow right out of the box with a slimmed down Xperia UI with very little to no bloat on the device. You also get a 2700 mAh battery powering the phone, which according to the company will last for 2 days of moderate usage. We have seen Sony's claims on battery-life to be sound, and the XA Ultra may prove the same.
The Sony Xperia XA Ultra has been priced at Rs. 29,990, comes in white, graphite black and lime gold colors options. It will be available starting tomorrow July 27th in India from all major retail outlets and Sony Center.
