TECNO has launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the CAMON 19 series the CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian at an event in New York for the Global Market. It has a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 0.98mm slim bezel on the 3 sides, which is the slimmest in the industry as per the company. It runs on the Helio G96 processor with up to 8GB RAM + up to 5GB virtual RAM, and up to 128GB storage and is based on Android 12 with XOS.

The technology successfully allows the monochrome back cover of a smartphone to show multiple changing colors under illumination, giving an immersive “light chasing” experience.
The innovative system uses the recovery and breakage effect of the chain of photosynthesis molecular bonds under ultraviolet light, making the colorless molecular groups chromogenic and reverting to colorless. The design of the phone is inspired by Mondrian Art, the product has been awarded USA Muse Design Award and A’ Design Award from Italy.
According to the company, the phone has a diamond coating on the back that depicts 200 million stars in a bright starry sky and has an anti-fingerprint coating that is a delicate touch. The CAMON 19 Pro has a triple rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera with RGBW + (G + P) Lens co-developed with Samsung along with a 50MP 50mm Portrait Camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 2MP portrait camera. The G + P technology replaces plastic lenses with a crystal glass lens that increases light intake by more than 208%, as per the company. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
