Update - Vivo has officially announced the arrival of the V30e in India on May 2nd, as anticipated.
Earlier - Vivo initiated teasers for the impending launch of the V30e, marking the next addition to the V series lineup in India. The company has confirmed several key features including the Gem Cut Design, available in Velvet Red and Silk Blue color options, along with a 3D Curved Display, Aura Light, and Smart Color Temperature Adjustment.
Additionally, it will inherit the 2X portrait feature with the Wedding Style Portrait option from its predecessors, the V30 and V30 Pro. Equipped with a Sony IMX882 sensor, the V30e is set to offer a 50MP eye AF selfie camera and an impressive 5500mAh battery, making it the slimmest smartphone in India with such a substantial battery capacity at just 7.69mm thickness.
Rumored specifications suggest that the phone will boast a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with options for 8GB RAM and storage capacities of either 128GB or 256GB. Camera-wise, it will feature an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Operating on Android 14, the V30e is expected to carry IP64 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The V30e will be available for purchase on Flipkart, alongside vivo India's online store and offline outlets. With teasers hinting at the launch date, anticipation is high for the phone to debut in India on May 2nd.
