Vivo has launched its latest flagship 5G smartphone the Vivo X60 Pro+ in the X60 series in India. It has a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, support HDR 10+, and the tuned color accuracy rating of JNCD around 0.4. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 888 processor with built-in 5G, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 3GB virtual RAM, so it can effectively have 15GB RAM, as per the company, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and works on OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.
Coming to the cameras, it has a quad rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera with Samsung GN1 sensor, Zeiss T* composite multilayer coating included nanocrystalline structure coating along with 48MP Sony IMX598 114° ultra-wide camera with 4-axis micro-head that can achieve a shockproof effect of plus or minus 3 degrees, 32MP 50mm portrait camera with 2x optical zoom, and last an 8MP 5x optical periscope telephoto lens that has up to 60x zoom, and also supports 8K video recording at 30FPS. The front has a 32MP punch-hole front-facing camera coated with nanocrystalline structure coating. The front and back camera lens are coated with nanocrystalline structure coating. The camera features HDR Super Night portrait, Ultra-wide night mode, Super Night video, Pixel shift ultra HD imaging Extreme night vision 2.0, Pro sports mode, and more camera features.
The Vivo S60 Pro+ comes with a two-layer stepped design, with different materials of glass and metal, and uses layers to resolve the sense of thickness. The back panel has a high-grade leather finish with uniform coloring that gives a soft and warm feel. The phone is powered by a 4200mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging and it comes in Emperor Blue color.
