Today, Vivo has confirmed the launch of its latest flagship smartphones the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro in China on April 25th, after these surfaced online with specifications. The company has also posted the image of the Vivo X80 that shows a triple rear camera setup with Zeiss T* coating and will feature a flat punch-hole AMOLED Display.
The Vivo X80 will feature a 50MP IMX866 (RGBW) sensor with OIS support along with a 48MP IMX598 ultrawide sensor and a 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom but doesn’t have a periscope lens.
The Vivo X80 Pro has a quad rear camera setup where it is the first to use the 50MP Samsung GNV 1/1.3″ sensor with f/1.57 aperture along with a 48MP IMX598 ultrawide sensor, a 12MP 50mm portrait camera with a Sony IMX663 sensor and an 8MP periscope camera. The teaser video confirms a new V1+ 4nm imaging chip and a leatherback in orange and blue color variants.
The Vivo X80 Pro could feature a 6.78-inch LTPO E5 AMOLED screen with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and will be powered by Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The company is also expected to introduce the Vivo X80 Pro+ smartphone that will be released sometime later this year, similar to the X70 Pro+.
Vivo S15e -
Vivo is also confirmed that will introduce a mid-range smartphone the Vivo S15e alongside the Vivo X80 series. The image shows a triple rear camera setup and a flat notch display.
