Vivo has silently launched its cheaper version of the Y series smartphone the Vivo Y78 in China. It has a 6.64-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 91.06% screen-to-body ratio, and a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on the Dimensity 7020 processor, which is a rebranded version of Dimensity 930 with up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and is based on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.
It has a dual rear camera setup where a 50-megapixel primary camera, along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8MP front-facing punch-hole camera. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
