Xiaomi has officially unveiled its flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, at an event held in China as previously promised. This cutting-edge device boasts a 6.78-inch 2K C8 OLED LTPO display jointly developed by Xiaomi and CSOT. With a peak brightness of 3000 nits, a variable refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120Hz, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, the screen ensures stunning visual experiences. Additionally, it incorporates 1920Hz PWM dimming technology.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, accompanied by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It introduces a new 4000mm² dual-circuit Circular cold pump cooling system with a Vapor-liquid separation design, promising performance improvements up to three times compared to traditional VC cooling. The device also supports two-way satellite communications for enhanced connectivity.
In terms of photography, the phone features a quad-camera setup on the rear. This setup includes a 50MP 1″ large Sony LYT-900 sensor with an aperture ranging from f/1.63 to f/4 and a 1024-step variable aperture for outstanding background blur and detailed captures. Furthermore, it integrates a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP 3.2X telephoto camera, and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera, all equipped with Leica Summilux lenses.
The phone features a Unibody metal frame and introduces the new Xiaomi Dragon Armor Architecture, which utilizes a high-strength aluminum alloy frame and Ceramic Glass. It's claimed that the body frame's bending resistance surpasses that of the iPhone’s titanium middle frame by 8%, while the glass offers 10 times higher drop resistance. Additionally, the phone incorporates the AAC SLA1010 X-axis linear motor and boasts IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Equipped with a 5300mAh battery, the device supports 90W wired charging, enabling a full charge in just 34 minutes. Moreover, it supports 80W wireless charging, completing a full charge in 49 minutes, along with 10W reverse wireless charging. The presence of Xiaomi Surge P2 charging chipsets and Xiaomi Surge G1 battery management chipsets enhances its charging capabilities.
Furthermore, Xiaomi offers a special edition of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra known as the Titanium Metal Special Edition. Constructed with aerospace-grade titanium alloy and high-strength aluminum alloy materials, the middle frame undergoes metal powder injection for a "one-piece molded" structure, resulting in both an elegant appearance and outstanding internal pressure resistance, according to the company's claims.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes in Dragon Crystal Blue (Ceramic), Black and White (Vegan leather) colors, and it will be available from February 27th in China. The Titanium special edition will be available from March 12th.
