Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 at an event in China alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra. This new model succeeds the Pad 7 Pro and marks a major shift by replacing the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with Xiaomi’s proprietary XRING 01 SoC.
The tablet features a 12.5-inch 3.2K LCD screen and is also available in a Nano Soft Light Edition, which utilizes AG nano-texture and AR optical coating to reduce light interference by 99%, decrease reflectivity by 65%, and enhance eye protection.
Powered by Xiaomi’s new 3nm 10-core XRING 01 chip, the device features a 6-core NPU and a 16-core GPU, and comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It boasts a 50MP rear camera, a 32MP front camera, six speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a 10,610mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
Running on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, the Pad 7S Pro supports PC-grade multitasking, WPS, and CAJViewer, and can even open Apple Office apps like Keynote and Pages. It also includes a global AI smart assistant. Xiaomi is offering optional accessories, including a Floating Keyboard with 0°–124° stepless angle adjustment and the Xiaomi Pen, which supports 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
