Face detection as well as smile/blink detection has been made faster.

The camera on the iPhone 6 comes with digital stabilization while the iPhone 6 Plus gets Optical Image Stabilization. You can record upto 1080p videos in either 30fps or 60fps. You also have a slo-mo mode to record videos in 240fps. Continuous auto-focus also makes way to video recording.

Its not just the rear cameras that have been revamved, you also have improved FaceTime HD cameras in the front with f/2.2 aperture for 81% more light intake with burst mode for selfies. Better and faster face detection in tow.
