Microsoft is betting big on integration of its services with other platforms. Going on its Cloud-First, Mobile-First approach, Microsoft has just announced Cortana apps for Android and iOS. A Phone Companion app will make your Android or iOS smartphone play nice with your Windows 10 PC.
You would be able to sync stuff through OneNote, OneDrive and other Microsoft services using the Phone Companion app on your Windows 10 PC.
The Cortana app on Android and iOS devices will be a bit limited as it won't have the deep integration into System settings, so no "Hey Cortana" here. But Cortana will be able to find a route for you, set reminders, search things on the web and more.
Phone Companion app will be available in new Windows 10 Insider Preview build in a few weeks. Cortana app for Android will be available on the Play Store in June while for iOS it will be available later this year.
