Google has finally launched a dedicated Hangouts website, so you can say goodbye to extensions. The new Hangouts website offers the same experience as its counterpart on Gmail and Google+ where you can carry on multiple conversations, make video calls, phone calls or send SMS.
This is a great move given you can now carry on conversations in any browser without having to worry about compatibility or installing software for it to work.
