HONOR Magic8 Pro launch global.

HONOR has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the HONOR Magic8 Pro in the GCC Market, following its China debut in October. At an event in Dubai, the company highlighted the phone’s key specifications, emphasizing advancements in AI-powered imaging, battery technology, and next-generation connectivity.

Hardware and Performance -

The HONOR Magic8 Pro is the first smartphone in the UAE to be powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. According to HONOR, this chipset delivers enhanced processing efficiency and better thermal management compared to previous versions.

The device features a 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, and HONOR confirmed that the Magic8 Pro is the UAE’s first 5.5G-ready smartphone, enabled through collaborations with telecom partners such as Etisalat by e&. It also includes several AI-based productivity features, including an AI Button, AI Search, and AI Documents.

Camera Specifications -

AI-driven imaging was a major highlight of the launch. The Magic8 Pro is equipped with a 200MP AI Ultra Night Telephoto camera designed to deliver improved clarity in zoomed and low-light shots.

The camera system also features an upgraded AI Ultra Night Portrait mode that enhances exposure control and color accuracy. Additional tools such as “AI Magic Color” and a new “AI Editor” allow users to fine-tune colors and edit photos directly on the device.

During the presentation, photographer and videographer Riadh Maghni demonstrated the phone’s low-light imaging capabilities live.

Pre-orders for the HONOR Magic8 Pro will open on December 11, 2025, across the UAE. The smartphone will be offered in two storage variants and three color options: Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black.
