Google has begun selling the LG Watch Urbane in the US for $349 (about Rs. 22,000). You would be able to get the shiny new Android Wear smartwatch in either silver or a gold finish.
The LG Watch Urbane looks more like a normal watch albeit a luxury watch at that rather than a geeky outfit that was the G Watch or G Watch R. Its made of stainless steel and comes with a leather band, alongwith a full round display. Moreover, on the software front it comes with Google's new Android Wear update which adds Wi-Fi support to connect to your phone if its out of Bluetooth range, gesture based navigation, drawable emojis and a new low-power mode. You can also skip through notifications by just twisting your wrist.
At present only Google will be selling the LG Watch Urbane in the US, but Verizon is expected to sell it soon as well. It ships May 8th.
