After the devastating earthquake that hit Nepal, relief efforts have begun in full swing. With several countries helping in the relief efforts with aid and personnel, the tech industry has also stepped in. Line has released "Pray for Nepal" stickers which can be purchased through the line app for $0.99 (50 Line Credits) and all proceeds from the sales with go to Japanese Red Cross Society's relief efforts in the affected regions.
The new stickers go on sale today April 28th and will be available through May 31st (tentatively). Previous Line sticker sales for relief efforts have fetched over US$ 727,000 (Rs. 4.6 crores), so this definitely works. You can also contribute to the cause and help the victims of this natural calamity.
Facebook has also started a charity campaign and it will send the same amount you send as charity to International Medical Corps to help the relief efforts.
