We have already seen the Moto Z from the Lenovo Tech World event in San Francisco and just to give you a round-up of specs, it comes with a 5.5-inch quad-HD display with 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage and a 13MP f/1.8 rear camera. There is laser assisted autofocus on offer as well along with Optical Image Stabilization. Storage is expandable here with a microSD card slot upto a whopping 2TB.

Moto Z is one of the thinnest flagships around at just 5.2mm in thickness and due to that petite metal shell, Lenovo was only able to cram a 2600 mAh battery inside. Its incredibly light at just 136 grams considering the large display size. Powering the smartphone is the flagship processor of choice, Snapdragon 820 with Adreno 530 GPU. One thing that the Moto Z is missing is a 3.5mm headphone jack but you do get an adapter within the box.

Although not water-resistant, it has a water repellant coating to prevent damage from an occasional splash. Lenovo has employed a closed loop antenna design to keep the thickness of the device in check but still keeping good network strength. Connectivity options here include 4G LTE support, dual-band WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with GLONASS and NFC. You also get a fingerprint sensor up front similar to the Moto G4 series.

Moto Z Play is the newest of the lot and it comes with more mid-range specs. The metal back here has been replaced with a glass panel but you still get support for Moto Mods. It comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. You get a microSD card slot to expand the 64GB internal storage and there's 3GB RAM on offer. A 16MP camera rests at the back with laser assisted autofocus, phase-detection autofocus and LED flash capable of recording 4K videos. Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 processor.

Lenovo has skimped on the battery for the Moto Z Play and has packed a 3510 mAh battery inside which still keeps the slim profile at check at just 7mm. NFC and a fingerprint sensor are present here too for mobile payments.
