Motorola today launched the Moto G Turbo Edition in India running on the Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, as we had already told you. It packs the same 5-inch 720p HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 13MP rear and 5MP front-cameras.


You have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop running the show and it is a dual-SIM 4G LTE device with expandable storage. It also gets IP67 certification for dust and water-resistance. However, the internals of the Moto G Turbo Edition have got an update to Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor instead of Snapdragon 410 as on the Moto G3.


Moreover, the Turbo Edition Moto G also supports the 15W Turbo Charger from Motorola which can give you 6 hours of usage with just a 15 minute charge and as an icing on the cake, it comes bundled within the box. However, you have the same 2470 mAh battery as the Moto G3. Connectivity options also remain the same with dual-SIM 4G LTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS amd FM Radio. The Moto G Turbo Edition weighs in at 155 grams and is 11.5mm thick at its thickest point.

The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition will be available starting today on Flipkart at 12PM on open sale in Black with Deep Sea-blue back or white with slate back color options priced at Rs. 14,499 (US$ 217).
