Nvidia Tegra Note 7

NVIDIA Tegra Note 7 with a 7-inch 1280 x 800 pixels IPS display, quad-core Tegra 4 clocked at 1.8 GHz, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage which is exapandable using a micro SD card is now available through Newegg for $199. The Tegra Note 7 also has a large 4100 mAh battery to give it great battery life, alongwith a Stylus.

The Tegra Note 7 comes in direct competition to the Nexus 7, which has 2 GB RAM and runs on Snapdragon S4 Pro with Adreno 320 GPU. Although the less RAM does hit the performance a bit, however the Snapdragon S4 Pro is no match to Tegra 4 in both performance and graphics. The display on the Nexus 7 has a resolution of 1900 x 1200 which is far greater compared to the Note 7's 1280 x 800 pixels which isn't so bad as it would provide better performance as the system would have to push less pixels. Then there's the price where the Tegra Note simply thrashes the new Nexus 7 2013.

In terms of design too, the Tegra Note 7 is more aesthetically pleasing and has a bolder approach, while some may appreciate the muted design of the Nexus 7. To each his own, but the Tegra Note is definitely one to watch for especially at just $199. Here are some videos showing the new NVIDIA tablet in action:
